Cipla

The Delhi High Court has ruled against Roche in favour of Cipla citing public interest, reports CNBC-TV18. It ruled that Cipla couldn’t be refrained from manufacturing Roche's Tarceva. Cipla can restart production with immediate effect, the High Court said.

TCS

The US economy may be staring at a recession, but an Indian company is promising to bring jobs to a struggling state. Not surprisingly, the state of Ohio rolled out the red carpet for TCS, which unveiled its largest campus in America this week. For its part, the USD 4.3-billion IT giant says this presence will create closer ties to its American customers. CNBC-TV18's Indira Kannan traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio for this report.

Deccan Aviation

The ‘Deccan’ brand is likely to be extinguished once the merger of Deccan Aviation and Kingfisher Airlines is completed, quite in reversal of what was last said on the matter.
“Deccan will cease to exist as the merger process is about to be completed,” Mr Vijay Mallya, Chairman of United Breweries’ group-owned Kingfisher Airlines, said on Thursday.

Vishal Retail

Vishal Retail has signed an agreement with HPCL for opening stores at HPCL’s select outlets in the country.

RC Agarwal, Chairman, Vishal Retail said HPCL has 8,000 petrol pumps across the country and they would be opening convenience stores at suitable places across India.

Vishal Retail would be opening four stores within one month, stated Agarwal.

Era Infra Engineering

HS Bharana, Chairman & MD at Era Infra Engineering said they have Rs 4,500 crore worth of projects in hand now. He told CNBC-TV18 that they have applied to Sebi for acquiring about 46 lakh shares and are awaiting clearance from them for coming out with an open offer
